A Message to Our Community
After more than 50 years of serving the St. Louis community, Hacienda Mexican Restaurant will be closing its regular restaurant operations. This Sunday will be our final day of business.
Hacienda was founded in 1968 by Norberto Rodriguez, and for over five decades it has been a place where families gathered, friendships were made, and memories were created. We are incredibly proud of the legacy built here and grateful beyond words for the loyalty and support of our guests.
Although our dining room is closing, Hacienda will continue in new ways. We will still offer catering and food truck services for at least a few weeks, possibly longer. Our Hacienda tortilla chips and salsa will continue to be available at local grocery stores, including Dierbergs and Schnucks.
Most importantly, we want to thank our incredible staff—past and present. Their hard work, dedication, and heart are what made Hacienda feel like home for so many people.
To everyone who has walked through our doors over the years: thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives. While it is bittersweet to say goodbye to this location, it is time to close this chapter so we can look ahead and plan what comes next.

Hacienda Mexican Restaurant was founded in 1968 by Mexican-born restaurateur Norberto Rodriguez with the goal of introducing authentic Mexican cuisine to the greater St. Louis area. The restaurant was an immediate success and to satisfy growing customer demand, our current location on Manchester Road in Rock Hill was founded in 1977 in one of the area’s most historic buildings which dates all the way back to the 1860’s.
For over 40 years, Hacienda Mexican Restaurant has remained entirely family owned and operated and been continually committed to realizing Norberto Rodriguez’s vision of serving authentic Mexican food in a festive atmosphere with the highest level of hospitality.
