The word “mouthwatering” gets thrown around a lot, and at Hacienda Mexican Restaurant, we have some pretty mouthwatering fare. But sometimes, what you really want is a mouthful. And in that case, what you want is the Hacienda Wet Burrito.
There’s a lot of history behind the Wet Burrito. It’s been on the menu since 1994 (that’s right – this dish is all grown up!). And as much as we love to innovate and keep things fresh around here, we also know that the Wet Burrito isn’t going anywhere. It’s a favorite not just with our customers (newcomers and regulars alike), but with our staff, too.
We created the Wet Burrito to showcase the great range of fresh ingredients we offer at Hacienda. It’s a beautiful, colorful dish, but it’s also a heck of a meal: we start with an oversized flour tortilla, stuffed full with seasoned ground beef and refried beans, then top it off with chile ancho sauce, melted cheddar and jack cheese, shredded lettuce, diced onion, jalapenos, black olives, tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream.
With all that goodness piled high, the Wet Burrito is not a quick bite – it’s a meal to linger over. Which is a good thing, because whether you’re soaking up the sun on our huge outdoor patio or staying warm indoors at our newly renovated margarita and tequila bar, once you get to Hacienda you won’t want to leave.
